How Can We Help You?

Can I come in for casual visits or do I need a membership?

We offer both casual sessions and membership options. If you are planning on attending less than 3 sessions per week, then casual sessions might be more suited to your needs. It's just as easy to drop back to casual sessions if circumstances change again in the future.

I'm new to exericise or it's been a really long time?

Exercise can be beneficial to every one of all ages and fitness levels and it's important to note that if you are new or returning to exercise, that a pre-conditioning phase is recommended to gradually build your way back into exercise. Your trainer will provide you with beginner options to progressively increase your fitness level until you can build up to a full workout. Please advise your trainer if you have any medical conditions, are pregnant or have any bone or muscular complications. Under certain circumstances you may be asked by your trainer to obtain a medical clearance before commencing any fitness sessions.

What happens if I need to change or cancel my membership?

Can kids train too?

We generally allow children from the age of 12 years to participate in most group training sessions, although 14+ years is required for weight/resistance sessions. Children must be 16+ years of age to train without a supervising adult. The adult does not need to participate in the session but must be present during the training session if the child is under 16 years. We may under certain circumstance be lenient on the child's age, depending on their fitness and skills background. We also offer kids and teen programs at certain times of the year.

Am I too old to exercise?

Exercise can be beneficial to every one of all ages and fitness levels. It's important to note that depending on your current physical activity level, a pre-conditioning phase may be required to safely build your way into exercise. Please advise your trainer if you have any medical conditions or bone or muscular complications and under certain circumstances you may be asked by your trainer to obtain a medical clearance before commencing any fitness sessions.

What if I can't keep up with everybody else?

There is probably a good chance that if you are just starting out that you probably won't keep up with everybody else, you might not even finish a whole workout and that's totally ok. If you were able to keep up with the experienced members, then there would be no clear evidence of fitness progression and that's exactly what you want to see from your workouts. Our programs are designed so that everyone can work off the same workout but each individual selects their own space, equipment and weights. You then complete the workout at your own pace and as your fitness increases, you can increase your reps, weights and pace.

I have a medical condition, can I still exercise?

Exercise can be beneficial to every one of all ages and fitness levels, but if you have a medical condition it's important to inform your trainer of your condition and consult your GP for a medical clearance and any medical recommendations before commencing any fitness sessions. Exercise increases heart stress, blood pressure and can place additional load on your bones and muscles. Exercise can also further induce complications in some conditions such as anemia or hypertension if not managed correctly. Please ensure you advise your trainer of all medical conditions and obtain clearance where necessary to ensure you have a safe and effective workout.
